Keeping temperaturs up at night?
I know Ball Pythons need their Night/Day cycle but at night it gets way to cold without the lamp on, I have them housed in I believe a 20 gallon tank but I never measured it. I don't have anything for insulation around the sides yet but I'm wondering if it will help enough going from 90 on the warm side to low 70's which when I woke up and realized I quickly turned on the lamp. The UTH is always on but that doesn't give off nearly enough heat. Any ideas on what's good to insulate the glass cage?

Use a red bulb for nighttime warmth. That colored light won't bother them.

You could actually use the red bulb all the time as it will not make a difference, I only suggest this because when I did need bulbs to up my heat it will end up being more expensive to replace two rather than one when they blow out. Just a suggestion.

Yeah I have two, I can split them up but I only have a medium sized tub for the other one... and where do you get red bulbs? and would blue work also?
