Yellow Anaconda Feeding Response?

I have a Yellow Anaconda thats about 2 months old. Ive had him for 3 weeks and hes eaten every feeding offered so far which is great. But when i feed him he doesnt strike at the rat (F/T). He will just grab its head off the tongs, pull it toward himself and swallow it. Hes been such a mellow snake for me so far showing little to no aggression. Anyone elses Anaconda take food like this? I kinda wonder if i put a live rat in there, if he would coil it or just try to eat it live. Lol.

My yellow didn't start striking at food till he was about 4 months old. He never struck hard, until i switched him to rats.
Now he is my strongest feeder. Live for me only resulted in dead rats, and a hungry conda. he would just kill them.

A anaconda almost ate Jennifer Lopez and ice cube.

But it did eat Owen Wilson.

My female yellow takes rats really gently off tongs when she's not that hungry. When she IS hungry, there is nothing faster in my whole collection...
