What humidity is "dangerous" and supports RI
I have put up the humidity of my little girl since she had a very bad shed and a retained eye cap / damaged eye cap.
The humidity is between 65-75% outside her hide, but inside her hide probably a lot higher due to the moss / heatmat etc.
Now I keep reading that high humidity supports RI but I wonder how high is high and over what timeframe ?
She is due to shed any day now but I am still wondering :rolleyes:

In the wild they have humidity up around 100% all the time. It's not humidity you need to worry about, it's condensation, they don't have that in the wild habitat, but we have that problem as keepers.
As long as no water is dripping on her from humidity inside enclosure then you should be fine.
Humidity in my tubs is around 70% all the time, and I never increase even for sheds (they never need it and it will cause fogging of the tubs).

Awesome, thanks so much for this answer! My tubs are all at 70% and I was a bit worried myself... No condensation, so we are all clear here! :cool:
Cheers!

I even have the aluminum foil on top of my tank, it doesn't help. >:/
Will my bp's get sick? I am so desperate. ;-;
sorry for hi jacking. :tears:
I think it's time for the switch to a tub for you. I know they aren't pretty, but it's much healthier for your snake.
