Do your snakes come out when you're cooking?
Anytime I heat something up in the mike or put something in the oven, the kingsnake and the SIGB come out of their hides to investigate. The BP doesn't seem to care much, but I always find it funny that Buffy and Chew poke their heads out to see - pardon the pun - what's cookin'. Mind you, I live in a studio/efficiency, so the space is small and easily filled with the scent of a hot meal, but I'm wondering if anyone else's critters do this when the smell of dinner fills the house?

My ball python does come out, but the reason is obvious: I use the microwave to heat up some water (no not to boiling) to thaw out her F/T rats. She's very cute like that.

I do the same thing for the king, but not for the boa (won't eat F/T). I figured they just noticed a different taste in the air, but maybe that's what it is.
