I dunk mine a some water and while they are hanging out in their bath I sterilize their habitat, put some new substrate in and spray it down with Prevent-A-Mite

I did the soaking & PAM treatment for my entire collection (29 snakes) last weekend, and so far the mites appear to be gone. That stuff does work!! :gj: The Natural Habitat spray will work temporarily, but it doesn't kill the eggs... so eventually you're back to square one. I'd recommend ordering a can of PAM (link above) asap, and using it within the next week or two - mites have a life cycle of around 30 days, so you wanna kill those eggs NOW.

Yeah there is a big difference between the Natural Habitat stuff and PAM, you need PAM to kill the egg if any are hidden. Miss one and you are back to square one. Highly recommend getting some PAM.

hmmm the only thing I have ever found that works is a no pest strip from lowes i cut it depending on size of tank place on screen for an hour a day for at least 10 day eggs hatch I think that often but a good soak prior put them one news paper and pest strip on scree.....cant have arachnids or insects anywhere is the house they will die from it

Another high recommendation for Provent-A-Mite. I won't trust anything else with my collection.
