    went down to check the T-stat prob thats attached to my UTH and the tape made it fall and got the UTH much hotter, thank god he didnt burrow and get burned i used duct tape this time :) it gave me such a scare !

    Hi,

    This is why we recommend the aluminium tape - it's designed specifically to stay stuck at high temps.

    Also if you put the probe between the UTH and the bottom of the enclosure it can't normally fall off as it's being held in place by both sides.

    I when not being lazy will use Hot Glue to secure probe to the flexwatt

    i cant i already stuck it too the glass its a zoo med if i put the probe in between the whole things just starts falling off im gonna get sum aluminum tape soon thanks!

    You can use the aluminium tape to hold on the heat mat too. :gj:

    oooo gud idea im not sure i will though, whats better about putting it in between then just on the outside other then it wont fall off
