Hey just a quick question I've done some research on what kind of snake I want and I have a great deal on a six foot just wondering if it is better to get a baby or an older snake this one is about four years old and never been sick???

Well snakes dont come with anything like a carfax. That would be cool but they dont, so unless you need a older snake for breeding go with a baby.If you get a baby you can make it what you want it to be, and grow with it which is great to do.

I have to agree. While having an adult may seem cool, there is a lot that goes into keeping it and there are no guarantees on the temperament and whatnot. If you are looking to get into BCIs, I'd say stick with getting a baby. You can then spend time with it and as it grows, it learns to trust you. This will make it much easier on you in the long run, I believe. :)

We pick up a big girl 7' she is a little squirmy when first out of cage for first few minutes, but is so docile after that, she'll just stretch on my bed chillax & usually go to sleep. Now on the flip side, I adopted an underfed small male with such bad cage agression, that I named him Oscar, but with work he is now puppy dog tame :).
