I can't wait to start my new job.

A local breeder has this BEAUTIFUL female mojave for sale and I keep finding myself looking at her picture. I doubt my next paycheck from my current job will pay for her but maybe I can pay half now and half later :P
I though my first ball was going to be a black pastel but looks like I'm going to go for this girl :D She is one of the most beautiful examples of a mojave I have seen :gj:

I had just a normal for my first ball python, but Roxy is the sweetest snake ever and i will never get rid of her. I wish i had gotten a morph for my first ball python. Good luck with your new purchase and make sure to have the tank/enclosure set up and ready for at least 3 days before getting the snake so you don't have to worry about anything!

Talk to the breeder! Most will work with you! I definately recommend a morph for your first snake! Good luck!

I thought of just getting a normal to start but all the different morphs catch my eye xD I even have a slight breeding plan though a mojave want in it :P but either way she would make a beautiful pet.

I wish I could afford the morphs. I've just got normals for now. But man, the morphs are pretty.....:tears::tears:

Maybe I wont be getting her. I have tried contacting the breeder twice but have yet to get a reply :confuzd: This is actually the second time I have contacted someone to get a ball and been ignored. I guess I will have to look else ware. Not what I expected from someone who calls themselves a breeder. It would be nice to know that someone else bought the snake and that I wasn't just being ignored.

Or just wait for a reptile expo to come around. You should have more variety in terms of breeders and snakes to choose from. There seems to be one within an hour drive every couple of months where i live. Maybe it's the same time period for you. It will also give you time to save up money.

I'm considering a Mojave as my first BP too, but they're a little more than i want to spend. I was initially thinking about Spiders and Pastels. Who knows... maybe when i'm at the expo and see a snake i really like, i won't be able to control myself!

There is one coming up this Sunday I'm going to. I'm just sad, I really love the look of this girl. She is really dark compared to most of the mojaves I've seen with little blushing but amazing flames IMO.
