first bite

I just got my bite
Here the story
I put her down on the ground to let her crawl our a little
And then I went back to put her in her cage and she bit me in the front finger knuckle
It scared my more than it hurt

haha yeah its more the surprise than the pain. i remember my first bite also. was on the heel of my palm.

On over 2 years with 4 Boas and 2 bps and have yet to get bitten. I am waiting on the day. Lol. I handle then daily and feed in a separate container. Just hasn't been my day yet lol

Mine happened only the 2nd time I ever fed her. She nailed me when she missed the mouse. She dropped me as soon as she realized she wasn't going to be able to swallow my whole hand..... LoL!

lol i wish my first bite,was from a bp mine was from atb.lol they love to draw blood.

lol i havent been bit yet but with how pissy our snakes get and with boo around (almost a year old bp) i know imma get bit eventualy

It's funny the first thing we do when we get bit is take pictures or show people. Then everyone freaks out and thinks the snake is a renegade man eater!! Just realize they will get over it with time, when you pick the snake up, pick it up with confidence and authority. I've picked up even the nippiest of snakes cause i just quickly pick them up flat handed and swoop down quick.

I rarely have to do this, I've never been bitten, but my snakes are nice or at least i know how to act and so do they! Just brush it off, write it down in the memory books, and enjoy the wonderful world of Ball Pythons! :banana::banana:

I got my first bite last week, but it wasn't from one of the balls, it was my boyfriends cranky RTB. Just 2 little drops of blood and it was more the surprise than the bite itself.
