    Hook training?
Before I go into hots, I would like to know the basics of hook training, and how to effectivly hook train a snake. Right now, I have 3 non venomous species of snake as you can see below. I have a nice, strudy, homemade snake hook. Its a golf club with the head cut off, and a meteal hook (its not sharp, and there are no sharp areas on the hook at all) on top.

Basically, I just want to know how to "hook train" a snake. Thank you!

well hook training pythons all you have to do is touch there head with the hook or there body to let them know your not feeding. After a while they will come to relize the hook means play time not food time. With venomous though its a completlydifferent story. They dont calm down much regardless if they see a hook or not. I would start with a really wild coachwhip and see how you can handle it on a hook for a while. And every time he bits you just htink you could of either been killed just now or had a huge amount of hospital debt to pay off.
