Lemon Pastel Produced by Robin Abernethy
This is the pretty little girl I picked up today:

I know she doesn't look absolutely freaking redonkulous but trust me after a few more sheds that brown color turns bright yellow and she just gets better with age, I wouldn't say that if I hadn't witnessed that exact same thing occur in this little one's older siblings. I'll definitely have to keep this thread updated with pictures of this girl as I grow her up.

NICE lookin' Pastel Aaron!!! I've got my name on the list for some of Winston's babies, but I'm way down the list it seems.
Congrats on the new girl!

A few more sheds and her yellows will start to come out more. She's only had 2 sheds so far - I hope you really enjoy her, Aaron!

Is that true? I have a pastel that's only shed once and she already looks good. She could look even better after a few more sheds?
BTW, she looks great, Aaron :gj:

It's true about lemon pastels. Kevin believes (as do I) that lemon pastel hatchlings go through an ugly duckling stage before they turn into swans. Usually you start to see their full potential after about the 5th shed.
