    Racking my brain...
ok so heres what im sayn, i been thinking about this rack setup but im tryn to figure out where i should start off...i been lokking at a 8tub rack which has 4 tubs side by side, each tub is 12qts,...the other rack i was looking at has 4 32qt tubs. Now if i were to go with the 12qt tub rack i would plan on houseing 8 bp from at least 100grams-400grams give or take. wich then means in the future i would have to then purchase 2 of the 32qt tub racks to house the snakes when they out grow the 12qt tubs......(are you confused yet? cuz i think i am lol)...OR i can skip that whole processe and jump rite into the 32qt tub rack. My reasons for all this confusion is that i would like start off with younger BP because its pretty cool to see them grow up and all, you Know ,>>>>im pretty lost at this point, screw it!!! ILLL JUST BUY IT ALLL!!!:banana:....nooo but seriously how did some of you start off with purchasing racks, besides building your own of course, i mean being that there are a few good sites that offer some good craftsmenship with heat and tubs included. If i confused the hell out of anyone im sorry in advance, i tryed to explain it as best as i could:oops:

I actually went with reptile basics CB70 racks and I love them. My largest BP right now is 1300 grams but they all were babies when I first got them. You just want to make sure if you have a large tub that you clutter it up a bit when they are small so that it doesn't stress them out.

I'd rather have a larger set up that my snakes will grow into than have too small of tubs in 6 months.
A 400 gram snake is on the edge of needing a larger space than a 12qt tub offers.
As Elizabeth mentions, just clutter it up a bit with branches and or some fake vines and the snake will be fine.
I have a few 500 gram snakes in 34qt tubs and they seem to love the space.

My personal opinion would be to purchase one of the Animal Plastic racks that allows for either 2 15qt tubs or one 32qt tub per slot. That way when they outgrow the 15qt you can switch them over to 32 qt. This will last you a few years at least. This is the way I started out and I love the rack. I actually have 3 of their racks like that and love em.

This was the exact question I had, as I'm going to make the switch next year. That Animal Plastic rack has the flexibility I need. Does the flexwatt have to be changed if you go from 15 to 32?

Is it cheaper to buy from Animal Plastics or another company, or build your own? I'm currently looking into putting together my own this weekend with a good write up, but I'm not sure which would be the better route. I'm assuming if I can do it myself it would be cheaper.
