How many days till seperation?

My babies are 18 days old now. Some have there eyes open. Some dont. Some are eating the rat blocks. Some are still weaning off the females. At what day would be a good time to seperate the babies?

I separate at 3 weeks.

21 days. Alright. Ive heard anywhere from 19-21 but wasnt too sure since its 18 now and there are still some not eating the food yet.

I always wean as soon as their eyes open. Once they go into grow-out tubs, they catch on real quck how to eat and drink. Its just like that old saying "Monkey See, Monkey Do".

This gives my females a little bit of a break because they usually drop 25 days after the last litter.

Sometimes you have a couple runts. I leave them in until their eyes open and out they go.

I separated the first litter this morning. I woke up and the female dropped her 2nd litter after only 19-20 days. She had between 12-14 more.

I dont count days when to move everyone around I just move them around when they look big enough and are eating the food, but it sounds like a good idea.
