    my ball python dont het her tongue out
    im worried i just got a baby bp but she dosent get her tongue out never:confused:

    Hi,

    Have you checked her mouth for any signs of an RI or physical damage?

    The mucus from an RI can sometimes stick the tines together but I'm not sure if it could actually gum it up so much it never came out.

    When did you get her?

    i had the same thing happen to a green tree python get her tons of fluids and get to a vet asap

    mine was she had gotten her top teeth stuck in lower jaw so mouth rot started

    That's the first thing I thought about. That's a sign of dehydration. I would get to the vet asap

    i open her mouth and now she gets her tongue out not that much but se get her out is that okey

    probably still a good idea to take her to a vet, its a sign of a healthy snake if it flicks its tongue actively, if not it could be bad.

    If her gums and tongue are pink, most likely she is fine but none of us are Vets.

    So take a trip to one

    sounds just like mine. let me guess tongue only come out half way if lucky. sounds just dehydrated to me.(could be something else but would take running tests to find them out.)

    soak her for an hour or 2 a day for awhile. water should be luke warm not hot or cold
