    i have my ball python for about a little over two weeks i am new to owning snakes i would like to know how much do u feed a baby ball python and shold i have a heat pad also right now im only using a combo heat lamp

    Most people feed their babies every five days. You really should have a UTH for the belly heat. The snake will need this to help it digest it meals. It will also help to keep temperatures stable.

    thanks for the advise do i keep the heat pad on all day or do i have it on for only 12 hours like the heat lamp

    Also, you need to have something to control how hot that UTH gets.

    you can get a dimmer from home depot/lowe's to control the heat output of the UTH

    You can keep the UTH on all of the time. As long as you have it hooked up to a thermostat there is no need to turn it off.
