keep him well fed and warm leave him alone and he should calm down, eventually.

Don't even try until they hit at least 130-150 grams. I say that because they're babies and should not be handled often.

Once they hit 200 grams, they normally calm down anyway without any handling. However, if at this point he's still agressive, hold him twice to three times a week (not on feeding days, or 48 hours after a meal) for about 5-10 minutes. He'll eventually calm down.

If he tags you, hold him a little bit longer to let him know it won't work as a defense.

    Hope this helps.:)

Edit: If you just got him, don't try until he's eating regularly. When you start holding him, if he stops eating, stop handling until he eats regularly again.

Normally they calm down with a few months of handling. Start off by handling it like 15 min. Every other day for a few weeks and gradually increase the time. Babies tend to be nippy but 90% calm down nicely as then get older

I have a 2010 baby male that hisses at me every time I have to touch him. I just keep handling to a minimum but I do handle him every so often so that he knows his behavior is not going to scare me off.
