Little Bumblebee is doing so well :)
I'm so thrilled with Maja !! She has now eaten 3 times for me...each time was a ASF live fuzzy. Time to try f/t soon !

Yesterday I did the first official "handling". She does very well, only a bit of fast breathing, but calms down quickly. No hissing or striking. I put her in my lap and she settled down using my cupped hands as a "hide" after exploring a bit.

She is so beautiful ! Prices for morphs have come down so dramatically since I first kept Ball Pythons (2001 for 6 years).

I definitely want to add a few more Ball Pythons to the collection. I'm going to have to buy more cages :) I like mine in display setups, once they are past the shy/hatchling, juvy stage.

Ball Pythons were my favorite snakes back then, and they still are ! Its just a bonus to be able to get some colorful morphs.

    Just thought I'd share :)

Always nice when the little ones eat well for you and get off to a good start. Bumble bees are beautiful. I keep thinking I "need" one of those too. Congratulations! :)

Yay! And it -is- really nice that you can get a nice morph without hurting too bad in the wallet. It was still pretty expensive to get a few of them 4 years ago when I first started researching ball pythons

I hear you :) I'm not getting mine as an investment, so its nice to afford neat looking "pets" :)

I'm in no way putting down normals, either, there are many normals I find more beautiful then certain morphs, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)

I like bright colors, contrast and pattern. What I would LOVE to have is a Tiger, or any Desert morph, droooool. But I think what I'm going for next, is going to be a Pastel Lesser, Pastel Butter or something along those lines ;)

Congrats! It is a big weight off your shoulders when your ball python starts eating! Spider morphs are usually good eaters!
