weird pastel pied paradox?

We hatched this little beauty from a pastel het pied to a pied female. Very cool snake. Has a wierd extra pastel band? Dark head, but was pretty light when hatched--

i would name him "focus" :-P thats an awesome snake man i love how there are some sections that are more fine lined "focused" lines and some blury lines that arnt so focused :-P
