OMG I need a new rat breeder
I had a rat breeder locally that would supply me rats weekly. He just sent me a text that he is closing up his snake and rat businesses as of today. So now I am in desperate need of a rat breeder in the Detroit area. My whole collection is live feeder. If you are or know someone who is a breeder near Detroit please let me know.

My advice is to breed your own. If your whole collection ONLY eats live that would probably be your best option.

If you have any questions about setting something up just ask and I will do my best to answer.

Ok I think I found a viable solution, but I can only order on a monthly basis, so I need to find a good way to house about 30 rats and about 25 mice. I currently have have a 20 gallon tall tank and a 10 gallon tank. I know i cant house 30 rats in one tank for a month they will start killing each other. So what is the cheapest and easiest solution?

In the long run a rack would be the best cheapest way to go if you have to house animal for any given amount of time, it will make it easier on cleaning as well.

If I was you I would start breeding my own feeder as well even if it's only to supply part of your collection.

If you go through 30 rats and 25 mice per month my advice would be to breed them yourself, especially if you're going to have to care for them anyway.

I agree totally. If your housing them anyway, your going to have to buy food, bedding etc. May as well hold a few back and breed your own. It will save you $$ in the long run.
