Little Egg - Day 57! :)

So I know a couple of you had wanted to see how the little egg looked while it developed further into incubation, well we're at day 57, incubated at 87.5, and as you can see the window has concaved in quite a bit.

The egg started dimpling on Monday. Would it be fully developed in it's color yet? It was a Super Mocha (m) x Pastel (f) crossing if you're curious :)

(To the moderators - I apologize if this should go in the breeding section. Since it's just pictures, I didn't know what section to put it in lol)

I can't wait for him/her to come out so I can post proud mama pics ;)

The pattern on it is really cool. Hope every thing turns well and its combo!

Haha, I was tempted to last night. VERRRRY tempted, but I think I'm going to cut Sunday if it hasn't pipped itself yet. Since I incubated a bit lower than normal I dont wanna rush things and possibly cause harm =/ .... but I feel ya, I was SOOOO tempted lol.

For real, right??! I thought the egg was going bad at first when it started getting that window on day 5.

So whats the rule of the thumb for cutting an egg like that? Do you cut on the window?

It would be awesome if all ball python eggs came with little windows. Also, that little ball is lookin' good. :)
