    shedding problem
ok so my bp has been trying to shed for the last 3 days and only shed a lil from the neck. still has to shed her head and the rest of her body. i bupmed up her humidity to about 90 and its reallly hot and humid everytime i put my hand in her cage. she hasnt been feed in about 2 an half weeks cuz she refused the first week and the second week her eye caps were blueish gray. i just wanted to know how i can ease this process for her cuz she is not shedding normally.

ok so i soaked her for about 30 mins in warm water and most of her skin on her underside from her neck half way down has been peeling back. but my humidity is above 80 so how come she hsnt been able to do it herself. so far she got off one eye cap by herself and that was a week ago. any advice?

Your humidity is way too high, lower it to around 50~60

a humid hide isnt necessary but it can help with certain snakes, i tried it but none of my snakes liked it and stayed away from it.

ur humidity is fine. if ur snake in fact has been trying to shed but just cant, soak them again the same way you did before but shed ur snake urself. gently pull head to tail EVEN on both sides and it should come off nice.

    Re: shedding problem
i tried that earlier and it didnt work. i started from the bottom of her neck and pulled up and back. it seems to be stuck along her spine cuz its hard to pull off and i can tell it hurts her when i pull there cuz she doesnt mind when i pull anywhere else but when i get to her spine she pulls away really fast. would it be alot easier if i switched her to a tub cuz right now she is in a 10 gallon aquarium and a screen top that is covered with plastic except for a 4 inch strip on one side of the top.

tubs are a lot easier so you should try it out. especially with the cold weather coming. get off what u can without hurting ur snake and next time just keep the humidity high.

ok i will try that out. it was high when she had a pinkish belly and her eyees turned blueish gray i bumped her humidity to 85+ and it stayed like that for like 2 weeks so idk what else to do
