    Hello from Southern California :D
I have been the proud owner of Oliver for maybe three weeks now. He is a normal male BP and his former owner was a class-mate of mine who was moving out of state for schooling and couldn't take him. No one was interested in him and the a few days before she had to leave she posted a very stressed note about how he didn't have a home. I spent that night doing research on maintaining a healthy BP and since he was coming home with a cage and all i decided to take him in. Unfortunately I had more knowledge from that one night of research than my class-mate did on taking care of snakes. So its been a work in progress for me getting Olivers terrarium up to par. This site has been my go-to for taking care of Oliver and I finally decided just to get it over with and join. :P So here I am, very basic knowledge of caring for BPs in general, willing to learn all I can, and absolutely in LOVE with ball pythons.
Taking in Oliver (even though it was a bit more than i was expecting) has been one of the best things iv done in a while. I hope to greatly expand my knowledge of BPs and hopefully meet some people who who are as enamored by this wonderful animal as I am.

    Hi and Welcome to BP.net!

Oliver is gorgeous! Looks like he may be in shed, and needs a bit of help. How do you have his tank setup?
