    pre anal pore issue
my male leo is about a year and a half. hes eating fine, and pooping fine but he has been refusing to go in his hide. he sleeps just outside it on the warm side though he does have a cool hide too. humidity is fine and hes on crushed walnut hulls. he also has a weird crystiline discharge on his pre anal pores that ive just been knocking off (were on day 2 that ive noticed) any body have any ideas whats going on with him?

    Can you post a picture?
Males do get a wax-like substance that can build up slightly, but I would not call it crystalline at all and it shouldn't be a large build up (knock off-able).
I'd also suggest changing the substrate to something solid like tile and/or paper towel, especially until this discharge is figured out...
What are his temperatures and how (type of thermometer) are you measuring them? How do you heat his tank? They don't need a lot of humidity, usually just a humid hide on the warm side is sufficient.
