What Heat Panel Should we Use?
We have built a 6x2x2 cage and do not know what heat panel to use.

    One is a 53 watt 11''x11''

    The next is a 109 watt 11'x30''

Which one should we get? Will the 53 watt get warm enough? Will the 109 watt get to hot?

    What's going in the 6x2x2?

Either a red tail or a burm. I think I posted this in the wrong place :( (if a burm, we will build an 8x2x2 later then get a red tail for the 6x2x2)

By the way, it's build with 3/4 inch material. And is in a room with a room temp of around 70-75.

this may sound cliche, I would recommend getting a thermostat with a probe you can put inside the container. that way even if you get the 100+ watts it wont get too hot when it can hurt the snake.

yeah but I don't want to get the 109 watt one that will only kick on every 10 mins cuz it heats up too fast. We will have a probe and thermostat for it.

I have my rtb in a 4x2x2 she's about 7' and it's perfect for her, I'd do 2ft of the 11x11. My temps are stable in the reptile room, so I use a rheostat.
