    What probe would you use?
    I am confused on how you know what size probe to use?

    What size would you use to sex:

    Baby ball python (not hatchling)
    2 foot ball python
    Adult Python

    Full grown burmese

    Adult Corn snake,

    ect. How do you tell what probe to use on what size snake?

    :) I am to nervous to probe my first ball I have my probe set and seen it done a few times, watched all the vids. But cant bring myself to do it or more cant pick my guinea pig out of my collection. How some one can help you out, but thats for posting this thread, :)so I can read it

    Learning to probe a snake is something that should be learned in person by someone experienced to show you. I wouldn't recommend trying to learn from video or on forums.

    Its hard to tell you the size. I just eye ball it, But what I do is go one size smaller than you think it would be. If it is to big you might think it is a female, when it is a male. If it is your first time have a firiend help hold the snake and try it then use a smaller probe to make sure you got a good reading. Don't push just rool. It is not hard.
