    listen to it, do you hear crackling or popping when it's breathing? Also do a mouth check, for bubbles.

    THere's drooling and then there's RI.....I had a burm who would drool if she'd had a drink and we didn't know it, just like lovelace said.....she was bad for drinking in soak in the bathtub and then drooling when we got her out. If you hear no abnormal noises when the snake breathes, it probably had a drink. if you put yuour ear against your snake's body about 1/3 of the way back from the head, you can hear the wheezing/popping/crackling. Just keep an eye on him.
