Feeding F/T for the First Time!
Hello everyone! I am going to try to feed my baby ball F/T for the first time tonight. He has had four successful meals of live hoppers (the last time I fed him, he ate within 1 minute of me putting the hopper in his cage), So I figure now is a good time to switch him over. Anyone have any advice on the thawing out the frozen hopper? Also, any advice on feeding f/t for the first time would be great. Thank you all in advance!

My advice would be to pre-scent the room, get used mouse bedding and set it near the enclosure so the snake smells it, and rub the mouse in it right before offering to the snake so the mouse has the scent too. Second, when you thaw it in the water, blow dry the mouse dry and really concentrate on the head so the snake knows where to strike. Third, try to make the mouse look alive, wiggle it around and do the "Zombie Walk".

    Good luck in switching over!
