How long between assists?

How long do you give between assist feedings on a hatchling BP? Also...How often would you offer food between assist feedings to give them the chance to eat on their own?

How old is he hatchling, how many times have you assist fed?

It's actually for a friend of mine. He had his first clutch back in mid July and all the siblings are feeding fine, but one. She is between 70-80 grams now and has been assisted about 4-5 times I believe and still showing no signs of feeding.

It was a Pastel to Spider and the only Bee he got is the one not eating...go figure! :confused:

Any advice for me to pass along?

I assist feed once a week. One week after the last assist, they are offered live prey overnight. If they don't eat the live on their own, they are assist fed. Repeat weekly.

Any tips for getting them to take food on their own? Or is this just something they will figure out over time?
