    What is his secret
OK so I was watching some of Brian Gundy's you tube videos and WOW He has got to have some of the best behaved snakes !!!!!!!!!! I mean he does b-day parties and the kids are going nuts getting them by the head and these snakes are not even flinching much less striking and biting I mean it was incredible. I would have uploaded one but I was not sure how to do it . How does he get them to be soooooo tolerant ?? Any one eles with an usually tolerant ball ?

I have a Spider that loves to be handled. He will sleep in my lap, around my wrist or around my neck.

I also have a normal girl that, while she doesn't really like being handled, she will tolerate almost anything.

I had her sexed by a vet a couple months back and even getting probed she didn't put up much of a fite and didn't strike. The vet said she was the best behaved snake she'd ever sexed.

My California Kingsnake is also super great. He loves being handled and you can pretty much leave him alone and he won't go getting himself lost outside his cage.

None of my snakes has ever even tried to strike me. I guess it has to do with how you treat them and how calm you are around them. Or maybe i'm just rediculously lucky.

I think it's all just a matter of conditioning. I'm sure he handled his snakes a lot when they were young to get them to be like that, and that's what I've got going on with my baby. When I got him he was terrified of everything and now after a month of handling almost every day he tolerates me petting his chin and just behind his head.

You just gotta get them used to it, that's all :)

I guess it the head thing that just blows me away the kids were actually picking them up by thier heads and they were not reacting to it at all a mother was just talking to someone eles and petting away at the snake head that was around her neck like it was a cat ...lol I was just strange My ball Is real tame I thought he has never ever hissed or struck . but he will flinch back away for me if I get to close to his head every time

Good socialization I guess. IMO, I think any ball can become like that with good socialization. My pastel it extremely tame, you can do anything to him and he could care less. That includes "stroking him around the neck like he's a cat" haha :D He'll fall asleep on my chest and everything. My hatchling lesser, only 6 weeks old, was a month when I got her, extremely head shy to the max, and here I am, two weeks later and you could probably grab her head and pry her mouth open and she wouldn't mind. (not that I would do that, just making a point )
