Kid that despises snakes....

Ok, everyone knows this story, but it has some twists. There is this kid I know who used to be in my class, but that was last school year and we don't have a class together. Well, he has a class that the teacher is also a teacher for vet technology, so she has a bunch of animals, such as rats, ball pythons, turtles, etc. Well he just keeps complaining that he hates that class JUST because there are snakes in the room, I know that's the problem but he doesn't want to admit it:doh: He says it was crazy for the staff to put him in that class, and if there wasn't any snakes he probably wouldn't have the same mentality. And now he is getting mad at ME because "I don't got my info straight."

This whole shenanigan is making me very stressed that people are being very ignorant on what they don't know, how people under 20 now have the mentality "If I don't know it, it's the devil!" I wish I can at least show this kid that they aren't what he is making the bps out to be, but he's all pissed at me now, so that isn't happening.

Sorry for ranting, but I'm pretty sure everyone gets mad when your hobby is just stupid, filthy, and worthless animals to others.

all i can say is some people will come around and some don't when presented with facts. or it could even be he got bitten by a garter snake when he was 1 or 2 years old so has always hated them cause of the scare that what was thought of as a giant snake bitting him it could of even been a snake crawled across him when he was in crib or out in yard or something but it created a fear and hatred of them that is deeply ingrained in his mind and could never come around. just don't go pulling a snake out on him or anything like that hate to see the snake get hurt. I've turned a few snake haters into people who didn't hate them anymore but they were people who were just mis-informed

Just ignore the guy. It sounds to me like he is being a drama queen just because he knows it aggravates you, and if you let it bother you then he wins. Besides, if he really has a problem with the snakes in class, he should address it with the teacher, not you...
