What is the temperature of your heat pad?

Seems to be? Do you have a thermometer? The heat pad needs to be 90-94.

No, you need a thermometer with a probe to get an accurate temperature of your heat pad, which needs to be 90-94F.

go pick up an Acurite indoor out door thermometer with the humidity sensor from walmart there are $12. place the display on the cool side and the probe on the warm side on top of the heat mat and under the substrate. that is a temp that you need to know.

    A few things here

1# You should know tour temps not guess them, this means monitoring with a thermometer

2# You must control your heat source, this means your heat source must be controlled by a thermostat to avoid over-heating.

As for burrowing this is not something I would worry about, if your BP want to burrow let him be.
