    zilla Halogen/Fluorescent Combo Dome
    my friend is sellimg his zilla Halogen/Fluorescent Combo Dome for my ball python. would i need that to for better condition for my ball. Right now i have a 75watt heat lamp for him can the zilla Halogen/Fluorescent Combo Dome have any use for me?

    Considering they are nocturnal I'd say no light at all would suit them fine :P

    He needs a hot spot, but most of us prefer belly heat. An undertank heater works the best for ball pythons. Of course, if your ambient temps won't stay above 75 (with the UTH) then yes, he needs a secondary source.
