    Gmail Calling rocks!
Has anyone tried it yet? You can place calls to ANY phone through Gmail on your pc/laptop (free to US and Canadian numbers!). The call quality is actually really good too.
It's a snap to set up and use. If you have a Google Voice number you can set it up to ring both your phone and computer for incoming calls and on outgoing calls it will show your GV to whomever you are calling. If you don't have GV it's no problem, it will show a static generic number. It's pretty neat, give it a whirl :D

I use Voice, but mostly to send texts. I don't like talking on the phone much, but I love it! I like how you can highlight any phone number on the computer and it calls it for you! I just wish it was like ON the computer instead of calling me and then calling the number.

No, I don't mean Google Voice...I mean the new feature Google just added to Gmail. You can make phone calls through Gmail.
I was not clear because I rambled about how it could be used in conjunction with Google Voice but it's not Google Voice or a GV callback app. It's straight up phone calls through your laptop/pc through Gmail.
