    Bredli update
Here she is! All treated for mites and I haven't seen any since treatment started. *fingers crossed*

She's also calmed down a bit. I still use a hook to handle her mostly but she's tolerant of my hands now. She still strikes at everything that moves too quickly in her range. And the second it gets dark watch out! She'll go after ANYTHING.

But she's lovely and I adore her. (it's cage cleaning day, hence the bare tub. Normally she's got hides and a branch"

I still have no clue what to name her though? Any ideas? My herps all get people names, but I don't know what to call her except "snappy little monster"

WHAT? Baby morelia are SNAPPY? Who would have guessed :P

She's looking great, and I bet her colors will really pop as an adult!

I figure her snappiness is good reflex training for when I get a gtp. :P

I must say, I was expecting a little less snappy than I'm experiencing...Everyone said, "c'mon you have tics, a Bredli will be a piece of cake..." Well, yah once she quits snapping at me everything I go in her cage or take her out...Give me a baby tic anyday...LOL

    Hey crapwhereaminow...

How's your little girl doing? Is she still snap-happy?

I swear my guy and gal are more bitey than any of my tics :rage::rage:...Besides handling, any other suggestions from yourself or the morelia experts??

Stil snappy, but she's calming down. When I first got her she'd snap at EVERYTHING. Now she'll let me hold her.

My only other suggestion is fast reflexes. :)

My suggestion is let them tag you as much as they like during 3-5 minute handling sessions twice a week, and do water changes frequently, even daily. Little bits of interaction are key.

Also just wait until they get some size on them.

I'm with you mainbutter...Doing all that and my handling sessions are probably closer to 15 minutes...I don't put them back till they calm down and relax a bit...

Yah, hoping this terrible-twos type of tantrums ends soon...I'm not believing the Bredli's are gentle giants stuff I hear and read...My tics are gentler than these two...
