Toney vs Couture at UFC 118
So James Toney and Randy Couture are going to throw down this saturday. I am even more excited about this than the penn/edgar fight for a title.
The easy prediction for this fight is "Couture will ground Toney on his back and lay his fist into him for three rounds".. but I'm not going to make that prediction. In fact, I'm not going to make one at all.
It has the potential to be a ridiculously awesome fight. Toney is a beast, but he looks bigger on TV than he is in real life, Randy has FOUR inches in height on Toney, and does SO well against people BIGGER than him.
I also hope that Toney gets tested for every anabolic steroid out there, that's my biggest worry about this fight not being great.

Toney vs Coture was a dumb fight. I agree with Freddie Roach 100% - it served no purpose but to make boxing look bad.
Of course, as expected, Toney tapped out shortly after getting taken down. I was hoping he could stay on his feet for at least a round and land some solid punches. No chance of that in this match.
I'm old enough to have seen Ali fight that Japanese dude in an MMA-style bout. It was stupid then, it is stupid now.
So, BJ versus Edgar was good. I mean, I was hoping BJ would win coz I really like the guy, but I have to say, Edgar outmatched BJ. Twice now. Okay, Edgar, you got the title. Hats off to you, man. Good fight.
