Window with a view ;) + video. My Little Egg
So my Little Egg developed with a "window" of sorts...I was so scared because when it first started getting this window in those first few days after laying I thought it was going bad!!

But here we are on day 41 and the lil one is healthy as can be. This was from a Pastel x Super Mocha crossing. I had also put my butter in with her twice but saw NO locks.

From what I can see, and I'm no expert, it definitely doesn't look normal??? Maybe some of you who know better could make an educated guess?? To me it looks JUST like mama (pastel) so I'm guessing it's definitely a pastel mocha, which makes me excited.

I might be getting too excited. I dont think they develop body color this early (41 days incubated), but there's always hope! :)

Even if it's just a normal (if the butter got her), I'll still be stoked!

Very cool! To me thats just a major tease though. I'd be pacing..."I see this pattern...no I don't...is that yellow?!" Good luck with it, not too much longer! Post pics when it hatches.

Cat, that's pretty cool. It will be neat to see how the snake looks as it gets closer to hatching. Good luck!

I've heard that a snakes pigment comes in the last stages of developement. I think most snakes are on the light side at this stage. very cool though!

Yeah, that's what I read too. I think I got a little too excited. Not gonna count my chickens...err well in this case chicken (singular :P) before it hatches :P

Even if it's a normal, as long as it hatches and it's healthy I'll be STOKED!!! My first baby ball python! :)

I've bred so many types of animals; guinea pigs, dogs, betta fish, horses, and birds, but I have to say, besides the horses, this is THE most exciting. I think just because of the long waiting process. It's like you have this intriguing little package but you can't open it!! :colbert: :( LOL
