UTH when the room temperature is too high
My room is starting to get really hot, and I'm currently trying to set up a tank so that I can bring in a BP! But I'm a bit concerned about the indoor temperature right now. We don't have air conditioning but I can kind of just live with it especially since I'm not really around during the day very much. I figure that when it gets too hot, I can turn the UTH off. Even the instructions say to turn off the UTH when the room temperature gets above 80F.
...But when that happens, what do you do in order to create an actual gradient of temperature in the glass tank?
Thanks!
Re: UTH when the room temperature is too high
If your thermostat is set to keep the UTH at 90 degrees and the room is warmer than that your UTH will shut off till the room temperature drops below 90.
Do you have a thermostat?
