Het pied poll

Does your het/poss het pieds have markers? Post pictures if you can please, because honestly the more het pieds i see, the less and less i think the "marker" mean anything. Also if you produce a bunch of het/poss het pieds, tell us how many have/don't have the markers

well lost the poll option, just tell me what you got.

I think it has more to do with certain lines than with all hets having the marker. ALL of my hets have strong markers, and the possible hets with markers I've sold to friends have proven out.

Even my pastel het pieds have very strong markers.

As I've been saying for a few years, it's more than just stripes along the belly. Look at the yellow smudging on the belly as well. Another marker IMHO.

what line is your pieds? mayb thats it

now have you ever had any with markers not prove out, or had het pieds without markers?

My original het Pieds came from Cypress Creek/Tom Carlton.

I have never hatched out a 100% het without markers. They have all had it. As for the pos. hets. with markers proving out, the only ones I know about are the ones I've sold to friends....and they are proving out this year.

I think it can be a reliable tool when purchasing pos. hets. from lines that have marker traits.
