Dwarf Bateater

Alright, we all know about Dwarf Burms, HD Burms, Dwarf Tics, and SD Tics, BUT has anyone ever heard of a Dwarf Bateater? Or Half Dwarf? Or SD?
Whatever it would be...
Has anyone seen one, known of any past "failed" attempts, or know of any one trying this?

You've got a lot in this thread that is open for a ton of discussion...But to hit the main point...

There are no Dwarf Bateaters out there that I am aware of...There is a well know Canadian that has successfully hatched clutches of bats and there is a gentlemen here in the states that just had a clutch a couple months ago...Great looking bateaters at a great price too if you really want one...And these are full-size not dwarfs...

Going down this path is not for the novice at all because the infertility rate is high and the success rate relatively low...

I was just curious if they were out there. A 8 foot bateater would be awesome.

I have heard of some hobbyists trying for dwarf bateaters. Im not sure how it turned out. Though I have never heard of viable dwarf bateater offspring, or even clutches laid for the possibly of viable dwarfs.

I will be trying this year, and next year, and the year after that...until I'm successful or they die from old age LOL.

Tom, just curious, are you using dwarf variants of both, or just one of the parents?

I still think that the burmballs look fantastic, and am really curious to know where they top out. I think a 20-30lb burmball would be the bees knees. Assuming that doesn't come through, a similarly sized bateater would be almost as good.

I am working on bateaters this year female is gravid right now as I type this we wil see what comes out if anything. I have messed with the odd. This is not only her first clutch but also her first breeding attmept. She is a 17 foot tiger retic, Sire is a 12 ft albino green patternless burm. However niether are dwarfs. If this one ont ork then I am going to breed her to a purple albino that I have in my collection.

If I'm correct they do not have websites...But the guy in Canada is named Ron and the guy in the states name is Simon and has listings on Fauna and I think Kingsnake too...That would be the best way to get a hold of Simon at least...He's a great guy and I would pick one up in a heartbeat if I had the spare cash...
