personally i feed rats just because it's easy when feeding adults. 1 small rat compared to 2-3 mice.

Gram per gram it's all the same really and while the nutritional value differs no study on BP nutritional requirement has been made, therefore saying one is better than the other is speculation.
I prefer to feed rats because I prefer to feed one prey instead of multiples, however I have a few mousers and it's ok too.
The bottom line is to feed what works and what is convenient to you whether it's rats, mice, asf, live or f/t
