Help..

Well its been over a month since my BPs last shed and that was with the breeder. Over the last two weeks he has seemed quite a bit darker but his belly has gone from white to kind of a yellow. Today I went to handle him and his eyes were in the blue/grey stage but I never saw his belly get pink. Also for the last week he hasnt come out of his hide at all at night. Usually he would come out and roam his cage but I havent seen him do it since last week.

What do you need help with? Make sure your humidity is a little higher to help with the shed and you're all good. :) Snakes feel very vulnerable when they are in deep shed(opaque eyes) and can go off feed, act cranky, and hide a lot more than usual.

just make sure ur humidity is up in the 70's and he should be fine. he is just hiding out cuz he prolly cant see very well right now and they tend to be a lil more scared when they shed. just let him do his thing until hes done shedding

I wouldn't worry about it.
If you saw his eyes get blue/grey then he's going into shed.

He will not be very active at all, in fact, he'll just want to stay in his hide and be left alone. He will also not want to eat. If you think know he's shedding it's a good idea not to feed him and to leave him alone until he's done.

Just make sure that your humidity in the enclosure is high enough to help him shed in one peice when it's time.

Nothing to worry about if he;s not active when shedding, that's what they're supposed to do.

Yea I just wanted to know if it was normal for his belly not to turn pink before shed, also I went to change his water and he poked his head out of his hide and struck at me so its gotta be shed. This is only the second time ive ever seen him strike.

Sometimes it can be hard to see the pink belly. You know your snake is going to shed when the eyes get glazed over and their entire body has a blue tint to it. With a younger snake, it should only be a day or two after his eyes clear up.
