Anyone know of a feeder supplier other than Petco in or near Lincoln, NE?
I am looking into breeding BP's in the near future but before I do I need to find a feeder supplier. Right now all that I know of in the area is Petco which has F/T but if I have a problem feeder I don't want it to die because I don't have the right size live feeder available. I may breed my own feeders in the future but not until I have a decent size collection

Well the problem is, someone on this forum would have to live near you to recommend some place to get feeders.

You have a couple solutions. There is also a PetSmart, I highly doubt you'll be able to get pinkies there but I hear some stores are lax on the rules. Your probable best solution would be looking on CraigsList. There are local breeders where I am and they advertise mice/rats. Sometimes they don't advertise them as feeders, but you could always inquire.

Next bet, Omaha (Pet World, PetLand, Pet Barn)

I realize that someone in my area would have to respond I know there are a few Nebraska people on BP.net that's why I asked the question. Thank you for suggesting craigslist I will check that out even though I thought you aren't supposed to advertise live animals on CL. Also Petsmart here will not sell live as feeders and the chain pet stores never have babies anyway.

Check feed stores in your area too. Some of the feed and seed type stores around me have feeder rodents. If they don't sell them, a rodent producer may buy their rodent food from them, so they might know!

    Good luck.

http://awwrats.com/ (in lincoln) --- he does soft furred & rats
as for mice, I don't know of anyone that purchases from the store.
If you are making a trip to Omaha I can set you up with a pair of breeders.
