A Few Rat Breeding Questions

Id like to build a rat breeding rack. What size containers would be good to use? I was thinking around 28qt.

How long should i keep the male in with the females?

Is it ok to keep 2 females together all the time?

Keeping females together is always ok they help each other out with the babies. When the females are prego just take the male out.;)


The best tubs for breeding rats are the mortar tubs you can buy in home depot there awesome. $5 bucks for a big tub that is pretty strong.
