There is several lines of Pastels! You have NERD lemon, blondes and Graziani. The lemons are a very bright yellow pastel, blondles are a lighter yellow and Graziani have alot of blushing. You also have just your everyday pastels. The lemons will probaly cost you the most. It all depends on what you like in a pastel but they are all pastels and bred together will produce supers!

They're not a different morph - they are a line of pastel and if they are produced from a pure lemon, tend to be brighter than other lines.

As hatchlings, lemons are pretty UN-impressive - and in fact, Kevin at NERD (the originator of this line) has stated that he generally doesn't photograph them until after their fifth shed, when they start to show their true potential.

When you're shopping for any pastel - keep in mind that orange turns brown as adults - so you want to try to find a baby with great head blushing and the least amount of orange on them as you can find.

Any of the lines of pastel can be a great pastel. It's all about selective breeding which a lot of the basement breeders are forgetting about in their rush to slap two snakes together to get babies. And people buy those brown babies because they're cheap, and the cycle continues. I saw a baby pastel for sale yesterday that almost looked like a normal it was so brown.

Typically, the quality animals aren't priced that much higher than their browned out counterparts. Go for the best you can afford.

I take it you were looking at the ad on Kingsnake.com? They had a guy on there offering Lemon Pastel Males for $75 a snake.
