    Snake pairing?
Is anyone in the NE pairing snakes yet or is it still too early? This seaon will be my firt at attempting to breed BP's and I have been itching to get started! Most people start in October/November...right? I have heard of people breeding all year round and was just curious if I would be wasting my time to start now? Any opinions?

    Thanks,

Dunno, I would wait a while.... some people start early and produce early.... kinda be nice to be the first to have eggs hatching and get first of the 11's out..

People have bred all year round but that is usually the experienced breeders. Since its your first year, I would follow everything to a T so you can increase your odds! Most people start cooling Oct.1 and start pairing Nov.1!

I only have one season (and one resulting clutch) under my belt, but I started pairing in October of last year... didn't get any eggs until mid-June, so I don't know if it mattered! I guess they go when they want to, regardless of when you start introducing mates. :confuzd:

Okay, then I'll wait until October/November. I just figured since it was supposed to cool off this coming week and they are calling for some rain, it may be worth throwing a couple pairs together? Either way...October is not that far away.

    Thanks,
