2 new finds and a question

Found two snakes today and know one is an Eastern Hognose and the other is a type of colubrid but not sure what. Pictures aren't the greatest they wouldn't sit still long enough for a decent shot.

Anyone ever had problems with Fish and Wildlife keeping native species snakes like these? I like a lot of the native snakes here but are classified as class 2 animals and require some sort of proof of purchase and lineage documentation. Would love to keep the little Hognose but unsure of any kind of legal action that it may cause. They're not endangered or threatened from what I've seen in state or federal level.

Check with Tennessee's Department of Natural Resources for the laws in your state.

I've been looking at the site and Tennessee has some crazy laws, some stating that any native animal, even something like a snail or worm is considered illegal to keep with out a research permit, proof of purchase from a breeder or store. Even store bought corn snakes would fall under this law since they are native to Tennessee. So very confused in all of this.
