Is there a 4 trait BP?
I know there are a few with 3 traits in them, but is there one with 4? From my understanding (depending on the traits of course and what's dominant and what's not) you would have to have 2 snakes with 2 different traits in each, and then even if they were compatiable, you'd have a 1/16 chance of it. Is this correct?

I'm trying to understand just a bit here (not that I'm breeding) but curiosity has the cat by the tail right now.

P.S. I'm still trying to learn so please excuse any ignorance that I may have. :)

if you consider super's as two gene's then yea I suppose..but I know that NERD produced a
Super pastel spider Pin Woma.. so even without the super there are 4 with the super there are 5

Killer blast only has 3 unique genes, not 4. Yes, they got two COPIES of the pastel gene - but it's still a pastel gene.

Inferno is also 4 gene - pastel, YB, hidden gene woma, granite.

NERD has the most 4 gene and higher combos to date. Some haven't even been shown yet.

I don't see why you couldn't have as many genes as there are available, it's just a looooong waiting/chance game :P

When i went to NERD he had a fader enchi inferno. 6 gene ball python, and he showed it like it was nothing, so my interpretation was that he probably has some even higher than 6 :O

It's exponential to be exact. A 4 trait python you have a 1/16 chance of being born. Out of lets say an average of 6 eggs, that's a VERY slim chance. When you start to put a 4 trait X 4 trait python, (If possible) your odds would theorhetically jump to 1/256 chance of being born with all 8 traits. Granted it "could" happen, but your chances are so slim, not to mention all the genetics would have to be compatible as well.

    (This is all theorhetical) ^^^

If you must know, the genetics wizard can't handle it, but a 8 trait X 8 trait, the chances of getting all 16 traits together is 1/65,536 of being born.

The numbers are absolutely mind boggling. So I understand how NERD could have a 6 trait python, but man, talk about hitting the odds.
