I'd say depends on how good of shape they are in and if they are imports or cbb pair. if they will produce any color morphs will also change the price. also just how well you know the person will change the price. friends will usually sell cheaper to a buddy then they would to somebody they never met before.

but price could range from a couple hundred to more then a thousand just depends on to many variables like if he is just getting rid of them cause something came up where they need quick cash. or if he was planing on breeding them then now they have changed there mind and getting out of it

First off thanks for the reply :gj:.Well the story i got was this guy had them to breed but is now getting out of reptiles.I know nothing of where they came from or if they are CBB or LTC and neither does the person selling them for him. They are asking $300 for the pair.So i was wondering if thats about right for them or to high. They are on consignment at a friends pet store for now.

It's so hard to say b/c it you don't see many around, especially breeding sized pairs. The few times I have run across babies, they have been around $100. I paid $200 for my female who was close to full grown about 4 years ago. I pretty much gave up looking for a male, I haven't been able to find one I like enough that isn't itty bitty. If they look healthy, are eating well etc, I would go for it. They are an awesome snake! Still my favorite out of all the snakes I have.

On a side note... morphs? I had no clue that there were different morphs when it came to Macklots.

They are cool looking.I was actualy not interested in buying them as i dont have the room for them.I told my friend i would find out if $300 was asking to much for the pair.

$300 for a pair of (assumed to be healthy) adult macklotts, sounds fine to me.
