    BP not shy...
I had my BP out earlier and I was petting him to see his reaction he didn't really push away or try to get away when I did it so I decided to try and pet his head. I slowly went towards his head with my finger and let him now my finger was there and he let me pet him on the head. He didn't jerk is head away or even move when I did it. I thought it was kind of weird, he doesn't even get scared when I move my hand in front of his face slowly. I was wondering if your guesses Ball Pythons are the same way.

Personally, for mine, it depends on the day. I have some that are very playful/curious and not head shy at all one day and then the next they are like Heck no you aren't touchin my head! With a lot of gentle handling I think that most ball pythons can become less head shy. It's harder for a lot of breeders and pet stores with TONS of animals to handle theirs enough for the animal to become less head shy.

There are a very select few that will allow you to touch their heads, and apparently you got one of them. Most of the time it is fairly uncommon, but not meaning anything bad if they do let you touch their head. I have only one out of my current ten that will allow head touching.

Mines the complete opposite. Really head shy. I don't know how much she was handled by her previous owner though.

I'm glad he is not head shy I think it shows that he feels comfortable in my hands and knows thats I'm not going to hurt him if I touch him on the head or anywhere else. :)
