    okay so i have 2 young balls at the moment, but a friend of mine offered me a red tail (about 4 foot) for both of my balls i have until saturday to make a choice please give me an idea...

    i have a 55 long tank would that be big enough?

    I wouldn't trade, but that's because I'm more of a ball python fan. A 55 gallon fish tank would not be big enough by the time it was full grown, but in the end it is up to you, if you would have the means to support it with a bigger tank/ cage and bigger food.

    I love my red tail more than all the others, don't tell the others though ;)

    A 55 gallon will work for now, but won't work forever, especially for a female. Do like me though, have both. Pick up a neonate at a reptile show for $60 :gj:

    I'd vote for getting a hatchling as well, and growing your own to that size. Lots more fun imo

    Okay so I got rid of my mean male today and I will be visting repticon next month so that gives me some time to think about getting red tail lol
